Head over to our scheduling page or speak to a member of the team and pick the day that you would like to fly. Flights are offered at sunrise and two hours prior to sunset. All flights are weather permitting, so we recommend being flexible when choosing the date or time of your ride.
The day prior to your flight we will be in touch to confirm flight information, including meeting location and weather conditions. Launch site and meeting location will be dependent on wind direction for the flight.
When we meet for the flight, you will be asked to sign a waiver, we will release a helium balloon to test winds and decide where to launch. From there you will ride with us or follow along to the launch site.
At the launch site the crew will use a gas-powered fan to inflate the balloon, then the pilot will use the burners to heat the air inside. During this process you are welcome to assist the crew with setting up the balloon or relax and take pictures.
Once the balloon is standing vertically, Pilot Ryan will invite you to board the balloon for flight. After take-off flight will last approximately 45 minutes to an hour.
The balloon travels with the wind and the flight path and landing site is different every flight. After we find a suitable landing site we will pack the balloon up, load up in the truck and return back to the meeting location.
